Music Together in Phoenix, a fabulously fun research based program for early childhood music and movement development, is committed to helping families rediscover the pleasures and educational value of informal music experiences. Classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical. All children call learn to sing in tune, keep a beat and participate in the music of their culture, given their early environment supports such learning. By emphasizing musical experiences rather than concepts about music, Music Together introduces children to the pleasure of making music instead of passively consuming it from CD's or TV! Each class is 45 minutes of PURE fun with your child every week! Free sample classes can be found under "what's new" or call 602-363-8202 for more information! Come experience the joy of family music!!

The Phoenix Teaching Fellows program is calling on individuals like you, our city's most outstanding professionals and community members, to become teachers in Phoenix's public schools. We want people with little or no teaching experience but who are driven to succeed. We want people who have excelled as students and in their careers. We want people who want to do something that matters, including candidates who are bilingual and/or whose children are students of Phoenix's public schools. Fellows span a wide range of ages and backgrounds and bring to the program a diverse set of talents and skills. Fellows will become part of a powerful network of new teachers and will work with other outstanding and progressive educators to make systemic improvements from within our city's schools. Begin teaching full-time in the fall of 2008.
